At arnoldarmy church we have two tiers of church leadership.
Responsible for the oversight of the church, it's ministries, it's policies, strategy and pastoral care are The Corps Leadership Team. The team is between 10 and 12 in number and is led by our Corps Officers - appointed from our National Headquarters - who take overall responsibility. The Leadership Team Meet on the last Wednesday of every month to pray for the church and to consider our vision and direction.

The Second tier of leadership we call The Communications Forum and this is made up of the people who are responsible for leadership of our cells and our programmes so is somewhere between 50 and 60 in number. They meet quarterly to recieve reports from The Leadership Team and to contribute ideas and perspectives from their experience of leading our activities.
Leadership in either of these two groups is open to Church Members only.

David & Heather Robertson
have been Salvation Army leaders for 23 years and have been the leaders at arnoldarmy since 1999. They were married in 1986 and together were previously leaders in Bradford, Mirfield, Christ Church Bedford and Wood Green, London. They have one daughter and two sons the youngest of whom is 16 years old.
As well as being the local church leaders they also serve three days a month as Mission Partners for The Salvation Army Territoral Mission Development Unit specialising in Small Group Cell development. They have taught or been keynote speakers at Cell Conferences throughout the UK, Europe and The United States and help coach cell leaders in Poland where The Salvation Army began developing small group cells in 2005. They are both presently cell leaders having led their previous cell through to multiplication.
When time allows they love to read, walk and in David's case maintain and ride motorcycles!

Roger Allcock
is the locally appointed "leader of the local leaders". He is married to Eileen and has two children and four grandchildren. He has recently taken early retirement from paid employment for the church. He is an avid walker and runner and amongst his adventures has climbed to Everest Base camp and completed The Three Peaks Challenge in under 24 hours. He is passionate about the life of the church and has had the joy of leading many people to Jesus. He is a cell leader having led his previous cell through to multiplication.
